Frozen Embryos are a cheap and quick alternative to having heifers and bulls for breeding purposes, and can serve as an effective short term solution/temporary boost for your existing herd.

Bonsmara influenced Embryos are available for purchase. Our embryos are cryogenically frozen. Typically, Embryos are used for quickly starting up a herd. Putting these embryos to use will require the usage of reciprocal cows that are ready to breed. The embryos come already fertilized and are ready to be implanted. Keep in mind that the overall speed of this process is somewhat influenced by the quality of reciprocal cow that you’re using – if you use a slow breeding cow, this process will take significantly longer than if you were to use a faster breeding cow.

The Embryos will produce cattle of the Bonsmara breed and retain all of the positive qualities associated with the breed – adaptability, tender meat and quick growth.

More importantly, the Embryos will give rise to a pure herd of Bonsmara cattle, which is useful if you intend to crossbreed to supplement your own herd, or if you’re trying to grow a pure herd of Bonsmara.
